Connor McDavid’s Wife Shares Wordless Post Before 4 Nations Face-Off

The 4 Nations Face-Off is scheduled to start this Wednesday, with Connor McDavid and Canada locking horns with Sweden at Bell Centre in Montreal.

Canada boast of a stacked roster, featuring the likes of Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins, Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche, Mitch Marner of the Toronto Maple Leafs and of course, the Edmonton Oilers star.

But before the clash with Sweden, McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle McDavid, showed support for her husband with a supportive post for the three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner.

Lauren shared a photo of Connor during Canada’s practice and captioned it with emojis of a heart and the Canadian flag.

After taking on Sweden, Canada will deal with the United States on Saturday, still in Montreal. Canada will conclude their round-robin schedule with a showdown against Finland at TD Garden in Boston on Monday. The same venue will host the championship game on Feb. 20 between the top two teams at the end of the round-robin phase of the tourney.

Despite being surrounded by top-tier hockey talents on the Canadian roster, the 28-year-old Connor is still expected by many to stand out in the Nations Face-Off, considering his outstanding individual resume.
