Cardi B is once again showing the world how much she loves to spoil her daughter, Kulture. The Grammy-winning rapper rewarded her 7-year-old with a luxury gift that most adults only dream of owning — a Hermès Birkin 25, valued at around $20,000.
The extravagant purchase came with a promise. “I told her, if she did well on her exams, mommy was gonna get her something really special,” Cardi said in a video shared on Instagram. “She did amazing — so she got her bag.”
This new Birkin is just the latest addition to Kulture’s growing collection of designer items, which already includes pieces from Chanel, Dior, and Balenciaga. The mini fashionista, often seen at her mom’s side in coordinated luxury looks, is no stranger to the world of high fashion.
But in true kid fashion, Kulture immediately decided to make the bag her own. Instead of treating it like a museum piece, she took out a set of colorful markers and scrawled across the tan leather. “This is my signarture!” Kulture declared proudly in a clip, showing off her doodles across the pricey purse.
Cardi, on the other hand, looked less than thrilled. “Oh my God, Kulture, this is a $20,000 Birkin! Why would you do that?” she exclaimed, half laughing and half horrified. She later told fans, “Listen, I love that she wants to express herself, but not on a Birkin. Not on this one.”
When Cardi confronted her about doodling on the bag, Kulture reportedly told her: “It’s not ruined, Mommy—it’s my signarture. Now nobody else in the world got one like mine.”
Despite the mishap, fans couldn’t help but gush over the sweet mother-daughter moment. Some praised Cardi for keeping her promise and encouraging Kulture’s creativity, while others joked that the young girl had officially made the Birkin even more valuable by turning it into a one-of-a-kind piece.
With her “signarture” now etched permanently on the luxury bag, Kulture has transformed the rare Hermès into something even rarer: a fashion statement that’s uniquely hers.
