Caitlin Clark and Diana Taurasi went to battle once again on Friday night, and for the third time this season, the Indiana Fever came out on top over the Phoenix Mercury with a 98-89 victory.
Given the sort of budding rivalry that had been forming between Clark and Taurasi, fans were interested to see how they fared in their latest battle on the court.

Clark dominated once again (29 PTS, 10 AST, 5 REB, 8/16 FGM), proving Taurasi’s critical comments from right after she was drafted to be simply incorrect. However, it doesn’t appear as if there’s any bad blood between the two, as they shared an awesome moment on the court during the game.
Taurasi likely meant no harm by saying “Reality is coming” for Clark after she was drafted, but fans took that comment and have been running with it for months.
As this quick encounter showed, though, there’s no animosity between the two of them, which is great to see after the ice cold reception she’s seen from some other players across the league.
Clark will be looking to make more friends out of her enemies when the Fever take the court next against the Seattle Storm on Sunday.
