Seattle Storm Social Media Sent A Strong Message To Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky
The Chicago Sky got the best of the Seattle Storm on Friday with an 88-84 victory. Two days later, the Storm got the win over the Sky with an 84-71 victory to close out the weekend.
Sky rookie Angel Reese had 17 points with 14 rebounds as Chennedy Carter led the team with 21 points. For the Storm, Nneka Ogwumike dropped 24 points with 13 rebounds as four of their five starters finished in double figures.
After the game, the Storm’s social media account hit the Sky with an epic troll job after the big win.
“You thought you were gonna end your road trip with a dub, didn’t you? Heavy emphasis on ‘you thought.’ STORM ON TOP”
For some background, the Sky social media account sent a message to the Storm after Friday’s game, so this is spectacular payback from the Storm.
The Storm got its fifth win in the last six games, with the lone loss coming against the Sky on Friday night in a close game.

Fans took note of the social media teams having fun and poking one another with posts such as these.
The Sky concluded its three-game road trip with the loss on Sunday, although Reese made history with yet another double-double. They return home to face the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday as the Storm face the Las Vegas Aces in Seattle on Wednesday.
The Storm and the Sky won’t face each other again in the regular season, which is too bad given the fun the social teams had with each other.
