Swift might be revisiting her ‘Reputation’ era soon, but this time, it seems she’s working to bring back someone else’s reputation from the brink of the grave instead of her own. Her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has had something of a rough start to the NFL season. And while her absence from some recent games have fueled breakup rumors, it turns out there could be another reason why Swift isn’t attending every game. Some sports analysts think Kelce’s packed summer schedule of galavanting around Europe and New York following Swift’s break from the Eras Tour has something to do with it.

“All the commentators are saying that he partied like a monster during offseason, and he’s only got himself to blame for being out of shape and out of form,” an insider told Life & Style. “Taylor and Travis both insist it’s being blown out of proportion, but there’s no doubt Taylor feels a little guilty that it’s gotten to this point because it is true that he spent his offseason living the good life with her.”

The thought is that Kelce’s less-than-stellar field performance stems from his carefree off-season. He reportedly strayed from his usual strict regimen, choosing to relish the high life with Swift and her entourage.” This included attending a friend’s wedding and the U.S. Open in New York, as well as making a surprise onstage appearance during Swift’s Eras Tour in London.

Swift is reportedly doing what she can to help get her NFL boyfriend get back on track, even if that means a few less late nights and a cleaner diet. “She’s promised to go on the diet with him for support, at least when they’re together. That means all the junk food is out, no sugar, and definitely no drinking,” the source revealed.

Swift and Kelce have recently faced breakup rumors, but maybe the real reason the two haven’t been as active on the social scene is because they’re trading in pizza and beer night for a quieter, more balanced night in.
