It is only just February, but Connor McDavid and his wife, Lauren Kyle McDavid, appear to have done so much since the calendar flipped to 2025. Despite getting suspended three games in January for his cross-check on Vancouver Canucks winger Conor Garland, the Edmonton Oilers star managed to collect six goals and seven assists in 11 games that month.
Lauren, meanwhile, has been keeping herself busy with her endeavors. She has been running an interior design firm, Kyle and Co. Design Studio, since 2019 in addition to her clothing brand, Sports Club Atelier.
Lauren recently posted a series of photos showing glimpses of her and Connor’s moments in January.
The first photo shows a selfie of Lauren followed by an image of Connor’s Erie Otters jersey retirement in the OHL. Another photo on the slide includes that of Connor wearing an Oilers-inspired Sports Club Atelier jacket. There was also a photo of the Canada Permanent Building in Edmonton where Lauren’s two soon-to-open businesses, Bar Trove and Trove Living, are in the works.
With over 120,000 followers on Instagram, Lauren garnered quite a lot of attention with her January recap.
“Love the purse! Who makes it?! ❤️” a fan wrote.
“I love the progress photo of Bar Trove / Trove living in the Canada Permanent Building!! So much buzz around your new concepts. 😍👏🏼 What an incredible addition to downtown Edmonton!!” commented another.
