Caitlin Clark has been one of the major sporting names in 2024 with the former Iowa Hawkeyes college basketball star now representing the Indiana Fever in the WNBA after being the number one draft pick.
She broke the all-time scoring record for the NCAA in February which really alerted the wider sporting world to her talents, but her Fever side are actually struggling this season despite her being there.

It was a special night at the Carver-Hawkeye Stadium when she broke that NCAA scoring record, and whilst the crowd went mad, it was her family that were the most thrilled for her.
She was seen celebrating with her family that day who are very close to her and her development.
Caitlin Clark’s family
Her father Brent was a college basketball player and knows the landscape well. He was at Simpson College which is a Division III school in Iowa.
“I don’t recall that she would ever miss a shot,” Brent said in a 2023 interview with KCRG. “The baskets were at five or six feet. She would just pull up from free throw line and swish. She could also really handle the ball at that age.”
Her mother is Anne Nizzi-Clark and she is the daughter of Bob Nizzi, former football coach, counselor and administrator for over two decades at Dowling Catholic which is where all the Clark children went to school.

She has two brothers, Blake and Colin who are either side of her in age. Blake is a former college football quarterback and he also played basketball, with Caitlin saying he knows the game ‘really, really well’.
Colin played basketball and track and field at Dowling and he has always been well supported by his older siblings.
