DiJonai Carrington Bluntly Addresses Racist Claims Following Caitlin Clark Taunting

Although they have only played three games against each other, Connecticut Sun guard DiJonai Carrington and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark have already produced many memorable moments.

Carrington went viral back in April, when she locked down Clark in her first ever WNBA game. And Carrington went viral once again after she mocked Clark for flopping during the Sky vs. Sun game from earlier this week.

Carrington’s gesture during their most recent matchup has irked Clark’s fanbase.

And one X user even posted on Tuesday, “Caitlin Clark was targeted by black players again Monday, this time in Connecticut. Sun guard DiJonai Carrington violently checked Clark then mocked her after the blatant foul. The crowd booed. If races were reversed Carrington would’ve been ejected.”

This prompted a response from Carrington, who replied to that post by writing, “BFFR, PAUL,” followed by seven emojis.

Despite being posted just two hours ago, Carrington’s reaction already has nearly 350,000 views on X.

And just about every fan in her replies agrees that Paul’s take is ridiculous.

Clark and Carrington will face off once again on August 28.
