Brittany Mahomes and Kids Cheer on Patrick Mahomes at Kansas City Chiefs Preseason Game: ‘So Excited’

“I get so excited taking them to the first game and seeing how much more they understand and enjoy watching their dad play!” Brittany wrote on Instagram
The Kansas City Chiefs’ preseason closer was a family affair.
As Patrick Mahomes and his team took on the Chicago Bears on Friday, Aug. 22, the quarterback’s wife Brittany Mahomes was on hand to support him along with their two older kids: daughter Sterling, 4, and son Bronze, 2½.
Photos shared by Brittany to Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 24, showed the trio decked out in Chiefs red and white as they hit the field to show Patrick, 29, some love from the sidelines.
“Every year is different with my babies,” the mother of three, 29, captioned her post. “I get so excited taking them to the first game and seeing how much more they understand and enjoy watching their dad play! This year is gonna be a good one🥹😍🤍.”
The Chiefs went 0-3 in the preseason, but the frequent Super Bowl champs will kick off their regular season on Friday, Sept. 5, against the Los Angeles Chargers, as they face off in São Paulo.

Even though the regular NFL season isn’t in full swing yet, it’s been a sporty summer for the Mahomes family, which also includes the couple’s 7-month-old daughter Golden.
Brittany and Patrick, who are both co-founders of the Kansas City Current, could be seen posing with all three of their kids as they attended a game played by the women’s soccer team on Aug. 16.
Both Bronze and Golden wore giant headphones to block out the noise, while their big sister Sterling was also seen at the event, where she kicked a soccer ball back and forth with her mom, who is a former professional soccer player.
One day earlier, Brittany shared a series of photos on her Instagram from her time spent at the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld San Diego and Legoland with her three kids.

“Been busy🤍,” she simply captioned the series.
That same week, Patrick and Brittany appeared in a teaser ESPN posted on Instagram for the newly released six-part docuseries The Kingdom, where the quarterback revealed that their newest family member’s birth didn’t clash with the time that any playoff games were being aired.
“Golden was born on January 12th, [and] it worked out perfectly,” Patrick said in the teaser, adding, “We got to bye week, which Brittany had told me that we needed to get from before the season,” referencing a week where the Chiefs had no games.
The athlete went on to share that not only did the birth of Golden not interfere with a Chiefs game, it also didn’t affect his NFL viewing schedule.

“Brittany crushed it,” Patrick said. “I was watching playoff games the entire day. She went into labor after one game, the baby was here before the next game, so I didn’t even miss a playoff game.”
“She is as locked in as I am as far as football goes,” he added.
