A new report reveals why Taylor Swift has missed the last two Kansas City Chiefs’ games as breakup rumors with Travis Kelce swirl.

In the age of social media and the advanced internet, it’s easy to spread rumors about celebrities and other famous people rapidly. In the case of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, there are already unconfirmed rumors that their relationship is in choppy waters.

The reason is simple: Swift, who has attended most Chiefs games since her relationship with Kelce commenced, has missed the team’s last two games. Swift was at the Chiefs’ Week 1 and 2 home games (vs. the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals) but missed their Week 3 and 4 road games against the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.

According to a report from TMZ, Travis Kelce and the Grammy Award-winning singer “are still going strong.” The report added that Swift has presumably been absent because of rehearsals, as she is set to resume her Eras Tour later this month:

“Sources familiar with the couple tell TMZ … Taylor and Travis remain a couple, even though she hasn’t been able to make it to his last two games in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Taylor is going back on tour in a couple weeks in Florida…so it appears rehearsals may be contributing to her missing Travis’ recent games.”

Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season, including all three AFC playoff games and their Super Bowl 58 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Predictably, the NFL has scored major ratings in Chiefs games that Swift has personally attended.

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will try to keep their undefeated streak intact when they host Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium next Monday night.

Travis Kelce Is Off To A Surprisingly Slow Start

The Chiefs are 4-0 despite inconsistent production on offense. Notably, Kelce himself has started out slowly with only 15 receptions for 158 yards and zero touchdowns, and 89 of those yards came against the Bolts in Week 4.

With star wide receiver Rashee Rice out indefinitely with a knee injury (potentially the entire season), it’s imperative that Kelce steps up and helps the offense rediscover its usual form.
