It appears that the Kansas City Chiefs’ stardom trio of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, defensive tackle Chris Jones.

and tight end Travis Kelce are remaining together for at least one more season.

Earlier today, media personality Pat McAfee received word from Kelce that he will play in 2025 after briefly contemplating retirement.

Kelce seems determined to finish out his career strong and on a high note after the Chiefs’ disappointing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

On Tuesday Jones took to X to shout out at Kelce that they have unfinished business.

Then, when McAfee announced Kelce’s plans to return, Jones responded in classic form.

Later, Mahomes got in on the action on X, sending out a post referencing “The Last Dance” series based off NBA legend Micheal Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

Mahomes is certainly happy to have his favorite target and best friends back on the field with him.

They can now continue to add to their already historic legacy as one of the best QB-pass catcher duos of all-time.

Although he hasn’t officially announced anything, it seems likely that 2025 will be Kelce’s last season.

It’s the final year on his current contract, and given that he was already considering retirement this year it’s probably safe to say that he’ll be ready to next year.

At age 35, Kelce is a step slower than what he was in his prime, but is still one of the top TEs in the league.

He finished third at the position in receptions with 97 and fifth in receiving yards with 823.

Kelce’s return will provide the Chiefs organization.

and the fans with closure knowing that 2025 season will be his final run.
