Has Kardashian turned over a new leaf?

Back in 2016, Kanye West released a song called “Famous”, part of his seventh studio album “The Life of Pablo”. The track contained a profane bar about Taylor Swift, whom West claimed he made famous by interrupting her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. After Swift complained about the lyric, the feud expanded to include Kim Kardashian, West’s wife at the time — who claimed that the “Bad Blood” singer approved said lyric.
Eight years later, the feud between Swift and Kardashian continues to simmer below the surface — occasionally returning to the public consciousness, such as when Swift released the song “thanK you aIMee” earlier this year. Most fans believe that song — ostensibly about a high school bully — is actually about Kardashian, proving there is no love lost between the two high-powered celebrities.
Kardashian’s secret hopes no longer so secret
Swift’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has produced a lot of reactions and even controversy, in addition to its share of detractors. It is safe to count Kardashian, 44 and since divorced from West, as one of those “haters”.
“Kim would never say anything publicly, but privately she’s getting a big kick out of predicting when this whole thing will crash and burn and laughing at how embarrassing it’s all going to be for Taylor when it does,” an insider has revealed to Life & Style.
According to the magazine, Kardashian at least partially subscribes to the notion that Kelce and Swift had a “relationship contract”, and that the relationship has been played up for the cameras. As such, she is counting the days until they break up — even though speculation remains that Kelce and Swift will be engaged soon, if they aren’t already.
“It all smelled a little suspicious to her from the start, but even if it’s not a PR romance, Kim’s convinced it’s still going to implode before long,” the insider said.

Kardashian is trying to avoid a public spat with Swift — but the socialite can’t seem to help herself, owing to bitterness over how her relationships (including with West) have dented her reputation. That’s in stark contrast to Swift, whose ongoing Eras Tour is the most successful in music history and has made her even more famous.
“Kim’s not looking for another fight with Taylor, but it does really piss her off that she gets completely raked over the coals for her dating dramas, while Taylor always seems to come out smelling like a rose,” the insider concluded.
