Blake Shelton Shares Goodbye Letter Ahead Of ‘The Voice’ Exit

Blake Shelton, beloved country singer and long-time coach on The Voice, bid farewell to the show after an incredible 12-year journey.

Ahead of the Season 23 finale, Blake shared a thoughtful goodbye letter, giving us a glimpse into his thoughts and emotions before his final episode.

Blake shared his reflections on the farewell saying, “Can’t believe it’s been 23 seasons of @nbcthevoice… and especially can’t believe today is my final episode. It’s bittersweet.”

Accompanied by touching photos of his nine winners and his fellow coaches, he expressed his gratitude for the unforgettable memories and friendships he has made throughout his time on The Voice.

“When we signed up for season 1, I don’t think any of us knew what this was going to be.. These past 12 years I have made lifelong friends and memories,” he said.

As he prepared to pass the torch, he acknowledged the talent and growth of the artists he had the privilege to coach. With a hint of hope and excitement, he even suggests that he may add another victory to his impressive record with Grace West or Noivas, making it a historic tenth win.

“I’ve had the great opportunity to coach some really talented artists, 9 who have taken home #TeamBlake wins (let’s make that 10 tonight?), and watch these artists grow so much from the show. Thank you to everyone… the crew, the coaches, the contestants, the fans, and my wife who have made these some really great years. Love y’all!!!!!!” Blake wrote on Instagram.

In a recent interview with ExtraTV, Blake Shelton opened up about the profound impact The Voice has had on his life. He confessed that while he may shed tears during the finale, they could very well be tears of joy.

Reflecting on his last button push during the Blind auditions for Grace West, he admitted to feeling an unexpected surge of emotions, indicating just how deeply invested he became in this incredible journey.

He expressed his desire to sit back and enjoy the show as a spectator, but he did take the stage to perform with his final two artists: NOIVAS and Grace West. His “Lonely Tonight” duet with Grace, who earned his final red button push, also marked his final Voice performance as a coach.
