Meanwhile, social media detectives have found a more compelling reason for the 39-year-old’s time off from the court. In a viral post on X, it has been rumored that James’ connection with Diddy might be the reason. “Struggling both on and off the court, LeBron has faced heavy criticism for attending Diddy’s parties, while his media company lost nearly $30 million last year and is set to lose even more,” cited the post.

However, despite taking time off, James will not be missing any games as of now. This is because there will be a four day gap for the Lakers due to the NBA cup. But whether James will be available for the game against Minnesota hasn’t been confirmed yet. News has also come in about the NBA legend taking time away from social media as well after getting heavily criticized. Riding on the speculation train, netizens soon began to chime in with their opinions.

With James’ retirement rumors going wild, the social media fans do not seem to be impressed with the Lakers’ legend. One fan said, “Maybe LeBron could catch up on some reading in prison.”
