Florida Panthers Players Are Desperately Trying To Hook Their Teammate Up With Model Sommer Ray Following Their Stanley Cup Victory

The Florida Panthers are on Cloud Nine following their second successive Stanley Cup haul.

The American NHL side has won back-to-back championships, besting the Edmonton Oilers in the finals two years in a row. And they are seemingly looking to parlay their success on the ice into power-couple status for one player.

We know that because star Matthew Tkachuk has taken to social media during the celebrations to try hooking up teammate Anton Lundell with DJ and model Sommer Ray.

This all took root after another player, Sasha Barkov, started discussing Sommer during an Instagram Live stream. Barkov confessed to having two names in his IG search history while wearing teammate Sam Reinhart’s jersey.

“Sommer Ray and Sam Reinhart. But one is by mistake. I typed Sommer Ray because I was trying to type Sam Reinhart,” he said.

It appears Sommer was still heavy on the mind later on, where Tkachuck was concerned, as he tried to get her attention with a tweet propping up Lundell.

Sommer Ray hadn’t replied as of Sunday, but plenty of Panthers fans have joined the campaign to pair her with Lundell.

We’ll definitely have to keep an eye on this one.

Meanwhile, Ray has recently made the news after it was revealed that she turned down a $40 million offer to join OnlyFans during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anton should really like that.
