On a recent episode of the ‘Brilliant Idiots’ podcast, Charlamagne Tha God, also known as Lenard Larry McKelvey, shared his insights into the ongoing controversies surrounding celebrities, notably focusing on Diddy and Michael Jackson.
The discussion initially centered on Diddy’s legal issues when Charlamagne shifted focus to Michael Jackson’s historical challenges.

He expressed a strong belief in a targeted conspiracy against Jackson due to his immense power in the music industry.
“There’s only one person I believe, in Hollywood, who people conspired to actually take down. I’m talking about a mass conspiracy… I think that there’s one person who they really took down because he had too much power and I believe that person was Michael Jackson,” Charlamagne asserted, emphasizing Jackson’s substantial influence over music publishing.
Charlamagne recalled the significant financial transaction in 2016 when Sony acquired Jackson’s 50% stake in Sony ATV Music Publishing for $750 million, a testament to Jackson’s control over a critical asset in music.
The radio host concluded with a stern belief in foul play: “I believe that Michael Jackson had too much power in the music industry, had too much control over the most valuable asset in music which is people’s publishing, and I believe they had to take him out because of it,” Charlamagne stated.
“Smear his name, you know, eventually get him up out of here. And 2016, ‘laughs’ they got their bag for way cheaper than they probably would’ve paid if he was still alive. He’s the one person. Motherf***ers talk about how Bill Cosby tried to buy NBC… You know, nah. He’s the one person I believe in entertainment – entertainment, mind you, I said the entertainment industry. Conspiracies happen all the time in other industries that actually really matter. But in the entertainment industry, he’s the one person I believe, actually, they killed his reputation and ultimately killed him.”
Simultaneously, a bizarre rumor linking Diddy and Michael Jackson through an alleged “underground tunnel” connecting their homes has surfaced online.
This rumor, propelled by social media, claims that the tunnel was used for nefarious purposes, though these allegations remain unconfirmed by official sources.
Diddy, known formally as Sean Love Combs, is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and related offenses, with a court date set for October 9, 2024.
Despite the gravity of his legal situation, the fantastical tunnel rumor has captivated public attention, though it has not been substantiated by credible evidence.
