While on her WNBA off-season, Clark has been seen in the gym practicing her game, as well as picking up another sport to go pro in.
The 22-year-old has been practicing her golf game with former professional golfer Martha Foyer-Faulconer.
The Indiana Fever star recently learned something new about herself while playing the game of golf with Foyer-Faulconer and her boyfriend Connor McCaffery.
Foyer-Faulconer shared a photo of Clark on the course with boyfriend Connor McCaffery, where they discovered the 2024 ROTY is right eye dominant.
Clark’s teacher, Foyer-Faulconer, said that the WNBA star is able to do anything she sets her mind to.
“It’s also part of her DNA,” Foyer-Faulconer told Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols. “Because she’s going to do things well. She wants to be as good as she can in everything she touches. She’s very driven and passionate. It’s fun to work with her.”
“Some of this stuff you can’t teach people. They just either have it or they don’t,” she added.
This past Wednesday, the two trained together in Carmel, Indiana.
Foyer-Faulconer also told Ann Nichols that Clark has improved since they first started training together.
“Within the time we were working, we saw some drastic changes,” said Foyer-Faulconer.
Clark is set to participate in a pro-am golf tournament on Nov.13 against World No.1 Kelly Korda and LPGA star Annika Sorenstam in Florida.
Not only is Clark planning on competing, but she is also scheduled to attend the Women’s Leadership Summit a day before the tournament.
“I love golf so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” Clark said.
“I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika,” she added.
This is not Clark’s first pro-am tournament, as she played in the John Deere Classic Pro-Am last summer.
