Jason Kelce picked a side a long time ago when faced with the possibility of his brother Travis playing the team he spent his entire 13-year NFL career with.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch next month after the sides won their respective conference championships on Sunday.

Jason, who was still with the Eagles when they faced KC in the big game two years ago, will be watching on from the sidelines following his retirement last year, but he will be heavily invested.

Fans won’t have to guess who he will support when the teams clash on February 9, as he made it clear where he stands almost a year ago.

The brothers were speaking on their ‘New Heights’ podcast last March when Jason said he would root for his former team if they met the Chiefs in the Super Bowl again.

“I will root for the Eagles of course because I will always be an Eagle first and foremost,” he said, having paraded around as the biggest Chiefs fan when KC played the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl 58.
