Children’s Mercy Kansas City patients weren’t ready for it.
Taylor Swift made a hospital visit in Kansas City, Mo., on Thursday — and fans are convinced that Travis Kelce accompanied her.
One parent claimed in a Facebook post that the Kansas City Chiefs player, 35, “was in the building as well.”

The social media user noted that the athlete “didn’t stop in [their son Rylie’s] room” but thanked Swift, also 35, for “bringing some joy” to their child.
“Today did not disappoint!” the upload read. “Great way to bring a smile and make a memory!”
Twitter users cast doubt on the claim, with one speculating the woman “confused Taylor’s bodyguard for Travis” since there was “no sign of him” and the tight end allegedly had practice.

However, multiple social media uploads on Thursday mentioned the athlete’s presence.

Another added, “Travis would also take pics with the kids if he were there. … Even if he was in a unit that didn’t allow photos, he would’ve taken photos with the staff in the common areas, or there would’ve been photos of him coming and going with Taylor.”
However, Big Slick Kansas City, an organization that raises money for the hospital, praised both Swift and Kelce for showing up.
“As if we don’t already love them — thank you @taylorswift and @killatrav for your surprise visit to @childrensmercy today,” their Instagram Story post read. “You brought some much-needed smiles to these brave kiddo faces.”
The visit took place on the eve of Swift’s 35th birthday.
The pop star made rare comments about Kelce while chatting with patients, praising one for “acing” the conversation with “good answers” about the Kansas City Chiefs.
When the little one said she “like[d]” the athlete, Swift replied, “Yes, me too. That’s an absolute yes on that one.”

The pop star has been out of the spotlight since wrapping her Eras Tour in Canada over the weekend after nearly two years on the road.
The Grammy winner is “burnt out … and looking forward to some rest and relaxation,” a source told Page Six on Tuesday.
The insider added that Kelce has been “encouraging” his girlfriend to take it easy.
