One NFL legend is paying close attention to the WNBA. There is no secret that Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has brought the league to new levels with her talent and popularity. However, as with anyone fame comes with it’s fair share of naysayers. That is exactly what Angel Reese is to Clark.
Now one NFL Legend is calling her out for it.

According to Robert Griffin III, Angel Reese lied about her rivalry with Caitlin Clark:
The WNBA stars played their season-opening game against each other this Saturday, with the Indiana Fever drawing first blood against the Chicago Sky in a 93-58 blowout win.
The result was massively overshadowed by a moment in the third quarter. Reese was attempting a shot in the post after a rebound and was fouled by Clark, who prevented her from going up and knocked her to the ground in the process.
Angel took exception to the foul, which was upgraded to a flagrant, and had to be restrained as she went after the Fever sharpshooter, clearly wanting the smoke.
Reese has previously claimed that there’s no rivalry between her and |Clark, but no one’s buying that anymore.
Griffin was among those tweeting about Angel’s reaction to what seemed like a regular foul, claiming it goes much deeper than rivalry.

“After watching Caitlin Clark’s flagrant foul on Angel Reese and the aftermath, there is no way Angel Reese can continue the lie that she doesn’t dislike Caitlin Clark,” he wrote.
RGIII added that he knows “what hatred looks like. Angel Reese HATES Caitlin Clark. Not some basketball rivalry hate either. Hate.”
Reese can deny it all she wants, but there’s undoubtedly a rivalry, and there’s also no love lost between her and Clark.
Still, it’s great for the WNBA, as it’s attracting more attention to the league.
