Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are coming off a loss to the talented Minnesota Lynx on Saturday, with their next game set for Aug. 26 against the Atlanta Dream.

Before Clark returned to the court for WNBA action, she went to social media to share a kind message to her former teammate.

Clark’s former teammate with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Gabbie Marshall, posted a few pictures on Instagram, showing her fans and friends what her summer looked like.

Marshall posted some photos with her boyfriend, playing golf, going out to the bar and a poolside picture.

She called the post a “little photo dump.” Clark then responded, sharing a loving message to Marshall and her boyfriend.

“Miss you!!!”Clark said. “Love you two.”

The post has received over 30k likes just a few hours into its posting.

Clark and Marshall played alongside each other on the Hawkeyes from 2020-24.

During their time with the Hawkeyes, Marshall averaged 6.6 points, 1.7 assists and 1.5 rebounds through five seasons. Clark averaged 28.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.1 rebounds in four years in Iowa.

They both helped the Iowa Hawkeyes secure a trip to the National Title game in 2023 and 2024 but were unsuccessful in winning a championship during their collegiate careers.

While Marshall decided to hang up her jersey and conclude her playing career, Clark is still wreaking havoc on the basketball court.

Caitlin Clark is currently averaging 17.9 points and 8.3 assists per game for the Indiana Fever, leading all rookies in both categories while leading the WNBA in average assists.

She has the Fever in prime position to make their first WNBA postseason appearance since 2016, currently holding the No. 7 seed in the league rankings with a 13-16 record.
