After Burglary Attempt, Patrick Mahomes Mom Randi Hits the Road as Chiefs QB Avoids Big Family Crisis

Going back a few months, when the season was just starting, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi, was asking for prayers for her ill father. “Prayers, please, for my dad,” she wrote. Well, now that her dad, Randy Martin, is slowly recovering after a long battle with illness. And it is all positive news for the Mahomes family. Randi couldn’t control her excitement as she decided to issue an update on social media.

@tootgail on X has always been her platform for sharing personal messages. And this time, Mahomes’ mom gave an update after the health crisis of her father, gushing over the chance of having long conversations with him, “Headed to visit my dad. Priceless time and talks… ❤️” Seeing her be over the moon for holding deep talks with Mahomes grandpa. It isn’t the first time she has posted on X about her love for priceless conversations.

Just last month, when the Chiefs were coming back from their bye week, Randi shared a touching update, “Conversations with my dad have been priceless.” Those series of posts came after Randy was discharged from the hospital in October. Breaking that wonderful news on her father’s health, Randi shared an update on Instagram Stories.

She shared a snap where Randi and her dad were found sitting in a car with the caption, “Dad got out today!! He was determined too.” Well, after watching his son’s game together from the hospital, “Watching the game with daddy today,” and reading Bible verses, Mahomes’ mother wrote, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight,” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Now that Randi is slowly enjoying her priceless talks with her dad. Someone in her family didn’t have a great week as Patrick Mahomes found his home in Missouri targeted by robbers.

Patrick Mahomes boils in frustration after burglary attempt

While Mahomes was busy fulfilling his gridiron duties last month, taking on the Saints in Kansas City, his house in Belton, Missouri, was ravaged by burglars at midnight. Although the reports released by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office didn’t specify any details regarding the items that could be missing, Mahomes decided to voice his frustration at having to go through such an experience, “Obviously, it’s frustration, disappointing. I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing. But obviously, it’s something that you don’t want to happen to really anybody but obviously yourself.”

Well, he wasn’t the only one who had his house robbed in Kansas City that day. As Travis Kelce’s $6M bungalow was also the subject of burglary, the thieves reportedly stole $100,000 worth of jewelry. And most importantly, his first Super Bowl-winning jersey from 2020. It was Kelce who decided to purchase this lavish 3-acre mansion to stay away from the paparazzi after his relationship with Taylor Swift was slowly going public last year.

To everyone’s surprise, Swift’s luxury clothes and designer bags weren’t targeted by the robbers. Instead, they chose to leave behind Kelce’s girlfriend’s items and only ran away with the Chiefs’ TE’s precious belongings. Although the FBI has been tasked with investigating both incidents, there haven’t been any breakthroughs just yet. However, we do hope Mahomes and Kelce get all their items back, as Randi rejoiced in having her father recover from his long-term illness.
