“Fire burning higher and higher every year we grow together,” DJ Humphries once mentioned for his wife, Briyana Humphries. It indeed reflected their deep affection and strong bond between them. DJ, 30, recently made waves by signing the $4.5 million deal with the Chiefs and has strong backing of his wife.

Seemingly, with his wifey and family support, the ex-Cardinals left tackle has established his name in the NFL. Apparently, he impressively made 98 game starts in his career. And his Pro Bowl selection in 2021 added another jewel to his accolades list. Thus, his impressive career stats truly solidified his current status in the league. And, it is no wonder that there is his wife, Briyana behind his success.

Who is Briyana Humphries?

Allegedly, Briyana Humphries has been his constant pillar of support. Since the couple first met during their high school days, they have been cherishing each other’s company. Just like her NFL husband, Briyana also attended Mallard Creek High School. Probably, the love between the two might have blossomed during that time.

However, there is limited information available about Briyana’s personal life.  But, her social media profile, demonstrates that Charlotte, North Carolina native, Briyana is a celebratory mom and wife. Yes, the couple is also the parents of their 3 kids, Dae Jermaine, Nellie Rose, and NOVA together.

Even they continue to adore each other on several occasions. A few months back, Briyana applauded him while celebrating Father’s Day in May through an IG post. “Happy Father’s Day. You continue to perfect fatherhood & we are so blessed to have a sound-minded leader. We love you so much,” she mentioned in her post. It indeed showcased their strong bond and chemistry.

Besides embracing motherhood, Briyana is massively involved in philanthropy work. She played a vital role in launching DJ Humphries’s non-profit organization.

Soon after, Briyana came to know that her NFL hubby wanted to do something for his hometown of Union, South Carolina, and she was quite responsive. She decided to surprise Humphries with a charitable foundation launch on his birthday on December 28, 2021.

So, for his birthday gift, she started the process of building his foundation. Apparently, she designed a logo and documented years of conversations in an outline of what D.J. wished to accomplish. Impressively,  together they founded “Pee Wee’s House,” named after D.J.’s late grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Means, as a special tribute to their bond.

Their foundation is focused on a range of visions, i.e., to improve holistic access to affordable fresh food. Not only this, it intends to teach financial literacy and also empower the youth to source out job opportunities better. Through his Insta handle, @hump, D.J. also shared glimpses of their drive back in 2021, as they took part in the Fresh Food initiative, captioning, “One of my proudest days,” sharing happy faces and smiles. Indeed, the vision they share is helping build a better society, each day!
