Patrick Mahomes & Travis Kelce Anointed Global NFL Ambassadors by Chiefs Official After Losing $100,000 in Home Burglary

Winning three Super Bowl titles together in Kansas City has already made Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce crown jewels within the Chiefs kingdom. Their continued success and unmatched partnership on the field have propelled the Chiefs to their best run in years. However, their constant growth in popularity has never gotten the better of them, as per general manager Brett Veach.

Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Veach had some strong praises for his star players as they welcomed huge exposure, “Travis Kelce is the ultimate ambassador for this sport around the globe. Him and Patrick really haven’t changed and they love being in the building.” Well, it’s their down-to-earth approach that could have led to Veach sharing his thoughts on them.

However, calling Kelce the ‘ultimate ambassador’ came through his burgeoning relationship with singer Taylor Swift. Her popularity around the globe has helped the NFL reach more fans than they imagined. Even in Kansas City, there is always a buzz surrounding Swift’s attendance at the Chiefs games at Arrowhead.

Working as Global Ambassador for the NFL, Kelce and Mahomes found their home ravaged last month. As the Chiefs welcomed the Saints on October 7th in Kansas City, both Kelce and Mahomes were victims of burglary. Kelce suffered a $100,000 loss, while Mahomes had his jerseys, medals, and trophies all stolen. Well, the criminals who entered his Missouri pad also took a few designer bags and jewellery that belonged to his wife, Brittany.

When asked to express his thoughts, Mahomes was quick to voice his frustrations, “Obviously, it’s frustrating. It’s disappointing. Obviously, something that you don’t have happen to really anybody. But obviously yourself.” Soon after going through such a traumatic experience, Mahomes has reportedly beefed up his security within the premises. And has already adopted extra measures to avoid break-ins in the near future.

As the FBI is investigating both incidents, Kelce and Swift are not taking any chances whatsoever.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift ramp up security in their $6M lavish home

It’s a 17,000 sq. ft mansion in Leawood, where the couple just moved in after their relationship started going public last year. Catering to six bedrooms, a Beverly Hills-style swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a six-car garage that harbors Kelce’s luxury car collection. Their $6M worth of bungalow is spread over 6 three acres with a miniature golf course and tennis court. But it didn’t have enough security to stop burglars from entering and taking Kelce’s first-ever Super Bowl-winning jersey with them.

Although there were initial reports of $20,000 cash missing, Swift’s items were targeted. She was fortunate enough not to lose her designer bags and luxury clothes that were present at the time of the robbery. However, Kelce is not at all happy to lose the items that were so close to him, “Travis got upset as they stole some important items, including his first Super Bowl jersey, and to have someone get into his private home is something he really got uncomfy about.”

Right now, there aren’t any breakthroughs on the case as the suspects are still on the loose. But as fans of the Chiefs duo, we hope they get their items back as soon as possible.
