Fans Are Saying The Same Thing After Seattle Storm’s Nika Muhl Announcement.

The Seattle Storm are looking to make it back-to-back wins against the Washington Mystics when they battle on the court again on Monday for the second time in one week.

The Storm came out on top of their last meeting in Washington on August 20, 83-77, and Seattle will want to secure another win now that they’re playing at home.

On Sunday evening, the Storm released their official injury report for the upcoming contest, which contained the status of only one player. Rookie Nika Muhl has been ruled out of the game due to personal reasons, but the details of the same were not provided by the team.

This is the first we’ve heard of this undisclosed personal issue, but it is worth noting that Muhl also sat out against the Mystics last week following a healthy DNP (did not play).

This recent announcement has led to pretty much the exact same reaction from the fans.

“What’s the difference she doesn’t play anyways,” a comment read.

“bra you don’t even gotta include her on these, she don’t play anyways,” reacted a fan.

“She doesn’t play anyways!” a supporter said.

“Not like she was gonna play anyways,” a user stated.

“Wasn’t gonna play anyway,” another said.

They’re not wrong. Muhl, who Seattle scooped up in the second round of the 2024 WNBA draft, has made just one one-minute appearance for the Storm in their last three games.

On the season, the former UConn star is averaging just 2.6 minutes per contest, which has more than a few fans frustrated about her lack of playing time. Whether or not this changes as the season progresses is anybody’s guess.
