Diddy’s Comments on the Incident When He and 50 Cent Almost Get into a Fight Made Things Worse in Their Ugly Beef.
50 Cent distanced himself from Diddy after being taken aback by the latter’s comments during Chris Lighty’s wedding.
Since his rise in hip-hop, 50 Cent has been relentless with his jabs against P. Diddy, and his detest for the controversial music mogul can be traced back to one incident. While the Many Men rapper clarified that he and Diddy were never friends, he did share a working relationship with the rapper, as he helped ghostwrite some of Diddy’s hit tracks as a young artist.

However, things went south after the Coming Home rapper asked out the p.i.m.p. artist for shopping, which gave the latter the ick, as Cent recalled being no longer comfortable with Diddy after that point.
50 Cent Distanced Himself From P. Diddy After the Latter Asked Him Out for Shopping
Speaking of the incident, 50 Cent recalled being dumbfounded after Diddy asked him out for shopping during Chris Lighty‘s wedding. Considering the former felt “that’s something a guy says to a girl”, the acclaimed artist stressed “from that, I wasn’t comfortable around him”, as he warned Diddy, “Let me move, man… You gon’ make me mess up the wedding”.
While speaking with THR, he further elaborated:
He asked to take me shopping. I thought that was the weirdest shit in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman. And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not fucking with this weird energy or weird shit,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.
To his response, the music mogul replied “I thought he needed some clothes. What I’m a Nice guy”. However, given the numerous cases lined up against him, it’s safe to say the latter half of his remark hasn’t aged. As for Diddy and Cent, things never ameliorated between them after this instance.

Following Cent’s comments, it’s reasonable to see why he has kept himself distant from Diddy and the music mogul’s alleged Freak-offs. Moreover, the Baby by Me rapper hasn’t shied away from firing shots at the controversial figure, as apart from questioning his business practices and behavior, Cent recently poked fun at one of the revelations from Diddy’s indictment.
In the wake of Diddy’s arrest, his indictment was unsealed to the public, which revealed that the authorities uncovered 1000 bottles of baby oil from his resident. And in true 50 Cent fashion, he didn’t miss the opportunity to fire another shot at Diddy.
While it remains to be seen what the future has stored for Diddy, which isn’t looking too promising after his recent arrest, it’s safe to say 50 Cent isn’t going to miss out on future possibilities of trolling the music mogul again.
