Caitlin Clark Fans Rip Sheryl Swoopes After Announcement From Angel Reese’s Podcast

Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has some of the most passionate fans in all of professional sports. In fact, some of her supporters have been unceasingly criticizing anyone and everyone who they feel has opposed their idol.

This is exactly the case for WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes, who, to be fair, has been quite critical of Clark over the course of the Fever star’s rookie campaign.

Speaking of rookies, one WNBA newcomer that Swoopes has had no problem getting along with is Chicago Sky star Angel Reese, who also happens to be Clark’s biggest rival. On Wednesday, September 11, Reese’s podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” made a Sheryl Swoopes announcement that appears to have strongly hinted that the three-time WNBA MVP is set to be a guest in the newly-launched show.

In the above post, Angel’s podcast literally asked the fans to ask Swoopes anything they want, which, presumably, will be included in her discussion with Reese when the 53-year-old appears on the podcast.

Unsurprisingly, Clark fans took this as an opportunity to rip into Swoopes yet again.

“On average how many times a day do you think about Caitlin Clark?” read a comment.

“What motivates you to come up with different reasons to find faults in Caitlin Clark’s game??” asked a user.

“When CC beat your NCAA tourney record, do you realize that she also did it while taking 22 less shots than you?” questioned a reader.

“How did her beef start with Caitlin did it occur on Gil podcast where she. Lied and said cc 25 playing 20 year olds cc takes 40 shots a game? Or was it something else,” asked another.

“What did Caitlin Clark do to YOU, or anyone in the league? Quickly,” a reaction said.

Caitlin Clark fans aren’t too fond of Swoopes, and it does not seem like their campaign against the WNBA icon is going to end anytime soon. The fact that Swoopes has shown a certain affinity toward Angel Reese is probably making this whole thing even more intense.
