In the wake of Kansas City’s Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

there has been gloomy analysis within Chiefs Kingdom about how things could have gone so badly wrong.

 

Some Chiefs’ fans have highlighted the breakdown of the offensive line.

and the uncharacteristically poor play from Patrick Mahomes as the reasons Kansas City lost 40-22.

Others have bemoaned dropped passes and pointed to dry play calling as contributing factors as well.

But there is another reason—a specific person, in fact—that could be entirely to blame for Kansas City’s demise: Tom Brady.

An old tormentor and sworn nemesis of Chiefs Kingdom is at it again.

As Jay Cuda pointed out on X, there is a clear link between Brady, Mahomes and the result of a Super Bowl.

either as a player, or since his retirement, a commentator.

On the flip side, Kansas City and its star quarterback have lost in both Super Bowls that have involved Brady in one way or another.

Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers bested the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

and now four years later, Kansas City has again come unstuck with him present—this time in the commentary booth.

It goes further than just Super Bowls, too.

Who was the quarterback of the Patriots team that knocked Kansas City out in the AFC Championship during Mahomes’ first full season as a starter? Brady, of course.

So, what is the only logical conclusion we can draw from this correlation.

That Tom Brady has some sort of voodoo he can unleash on the Kansas City Chiefs. I mean, what else can it be?

Did Brady’s evil sorcery  Dee Ford to line up in the neutral zone during the AFC Championship game? It’s possible.

When Brady is at games, does he use a Harry Potter-style confundus charm—a spell that confuses .

and bewilders those hit by it—on Chiefs wide receivers which causes them to drop passes? Maybe he does.

Or does he bust out a Jedi mind trick on Kansas City’s offensive linemen that dupes them into letting opposing pass rushers through to the quarterback unblocked.

I’m not ruling it out.

Or maybe his witchcraft simply gives any team that isn’t Kansas City superhuman footballing powers on the day.

There is an obvious motive for Brady to take this kind of action: to save his GOAT status.

Mahomes is the player who has been touted as Brady’s successor.

the one player who has a genuine chance of equalling or even surpassing Brady’s passing records .

and Super Bowl achievements, so of course, Brady would want to try and stop him.

Brady’s evil sorcery is powerful—apparently, it’s even stronger than Andy Reid’s magical walrus mustache.

but there is some good news for Chiefs Kingdom.

Mahomes, Reid, Travis Kelce, and company were able to break Kansas City’s 50-year playoff curse.

five decades of postseason heartbreak and turmoil that seemed like it would never end.

If they can break that, then surely, they can also find a way to finally put an end to Brady and his witchy ways.

In the meantime, let’s hope Tom Brady is as far away as possible from the Super Bowl the next time the Chiefs play in it.
