One of the top storylines in Caitlin Clark’s rookie season was the amount of physicality the opponents got away with while defending her.
There were countless instances of officials missing blatant fouls on players defending against Caitlin Clark. Early in her rookie year, the Iowa product even questioned the officiating and said, “I feel like I’m getting hammered.”
Judging by the noticeable amount of muscle she put on, it certainly looks like the No. 1 pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft is ready to start fighting back against the opponents who challenge her physically.
Compare these videos to how Caitlin Clark looked a year ago, and you can see the difference. She was still in excellent shape last year, no doubt, but it’s clear that she put the work in the gym to get even stronger for year two:

Winners of three straight, Clark and the Fever will try to continue the hot run when they visit the Connecticut Sun tonight (8:00 p.m. EST). Indiana holds the No. 6 seed in the playoff picture, but they’re just one game behind the Atlanta Dream for the fifth spot.
Clark has missed 10 games this season due to quad and groin injuries. She’s averaging 16.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game over her first 12 games of 2025.
