During her Gold Over America Tour, Simone Biles made the most of her husband Jonathan Owens’ NFL bye week by inviting him to join her and sharing their sweet moments on Instagram. On Thursday, Oct. 24, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist posted a heartwarming collection of photos, captioning it, “Bye week — bae comes on tour.” The couple was seen enjoying a range of activities, from cuddling in the car to shopping hand-in-hand and having a blast at an arcade. One memorable moment featured Owens posing next to a “GOAT” sign, which playfully referenced both the tour’s title and Biles’ legendary status in gymnastics.
In a fun video, he even attempted an L-sit on the parallel bars while another gymnast looked on. Earlier in October, Biles shared that Owens had joined her for the Austin, Texas, leg of the tour, which also included fellow U.S. gymnasts like Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera. They captured even more cherished moments during an Oct. 18 brunch, where they shared a kiss, along with a sweet photo of them holding hands as they strolled together.
During a previous stop in Milwaukee, Biles received a heart-shaped bouquet of 26 roses from Owens, who surprised her before her performance. “THE BEST SURPRISE,” she wrote over the image, with a heartfelt “Ilysmf” added for good measure. Despite their hectic schedules keeping them apart at times, they make sure to enjoy every minute they can together.
