Bad Bunny has heard all of the complaints, and he does not care.

The backlash against the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl halftime performance is only going to get bigger after his recent comments.

The Puerto Rican rapper is already a global phenomenon, but not many fans in America were thrilled to find out about his selection.

Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick criticized the idea of having him perform on stage in Levi’s Stadium as she spoke about his Spanish-speaking.

“Oh fun,” the former race car driver turned analyst said on X. “No songs in English should not be allowed at one of America’s highest rated television events of the year … not just for sports.”

Now, he has clapped back at the fans who have issues with it.

Bad Bunny Claps Back At His Critics On SNL

Bad Bunny mocked the backlash to the announcement that he will perform in the Super Bowl halftime show while hosting Saturday Night Live.

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican native, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said he was “excited” to be named the headlining act.

“I’m really excited to be doing the Super Bowl, I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy,” Bad Bunny said.

He would then break into speaking Spanish for a message before addressing his critics.

“Especially all of the Latinos and Latinas in the world here in the United States who have worked to open doors,” he said in Spanish. “It’s more than a win for myself, it’s a win for all of us. Our footprints and our contribution in this country, no one will ever be able to take that away or erase it.”

Bad Bunny then buried his detractors by telling them they needed to study the language to enjoy the upcoming performance.

“If you didn’t understand what I just said. You have four months to learn,” he added.

As far as Bunny, he has spoken out many times over fears that ICE could show up to his shows, which is why he did not schedule a US locaton on his current tour.

The NFL had been rumored to be pursuing Taylor Swift for the Super Bowl halftime show, but that did not come to fruition as they reportedly would not meet her demands.
