Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes continues body transformation in recent training footage
The offseason has shown Kansas City Chiefs players working hard to improve themselves after the disappointing loss in Super Bowl LIX. The latest player grabbing attention for his training is Patrick Mahomes, who continues to take steps to eliminate his ‘Dad Bod’ with intense workouts.
Mahomes is putting on muscle this offseason with updates on his social media.
The two-time league MVP debuted a new haircut in late February, sending a bold message to the rest of the league. For the first time in his career as a starter, he finished last season without a selection to the Pro Bowl. He is well aware that changes to himself and the roster are needed to progress as a team.
“I think that after the games, when I look back on the seasons, I get emotional just because of the process and the hard work you put in, win or lose,” said Mahomes before Super Bowl LIX. “Guys, give everything they have; every team is different.”
To accommodate their newly signed free agents, the Chiefs freed up over $49 million in salary cap space for the 2025 season by restructuring Mahomes and All-Pro teammate Chris Jones’ contracts earlier in the month. Mahomes is focused on upgrading his image and fitness for another run at a Super Bowl title.
