Caitlin Clark Travels 711-Miles for Tyrese Haliburton After Knicks vs Pacers OT Thriller

Just when you thought the Pacers were down and out, they uncorked one of the wildest comebacks you’ll see in playoff basketball—dropping 39 in the 4th, erasing a Knicks lead, and stealing Game 1 in Madison Square Garden, 138-135. And you know who was locked in? Caitlin Clark, who travelled all the way from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indiana (where she last played) to MSG. The Fever rookie tweeted mid-chaos: “PACERS ARE THE GREATEST COMEBACK TEAM I’VE EVER SEEN.”
A wild ending, a national spotlight, and now a new 1-0 lead—this wasn’t just a win. It was a statement. Tyrese Haliburton and the crew didn’t just survive MSG. They snatched its soul in front of everyone… and they did it with Caitlin Clark watching courtside, tweeting like the rest of us: stunned.
And you know if Caitlin Clark’s tuning in, so is the rest of the world.
Game 2 just turned prime time. Only time will tell how this series is going to turn out. But right now, one thing that’s for sure? The plot twists in this story are far from over. Keep an eye out for updates here, folks.
Caitlin Clark Sends Clear Message to Pacers After Tyrese Haliburton’s Wild Game-Winner
The NBA playoffs have been a thrilling showcase of competitive basketball throughout the first round, and on Tuesday night, the most exciting game yet may have unfolded between the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks.
With the Pacers trailing by roughly three possessions and less than a minute remaining in overtime, the game seemed all but lost. That said, after back-to-back turnovers by the Bucks, the Pacers found themselves down by just one point with 10 seconds left.
Tyrese Haliburton drove to the rim and laid the ball in with just over a second remaining on the clock, securing a dramatic 119-118 win that propelled the Pacers into the second round.
On Wednesday, Caitlin Clark, who was in attendance for the Pacers victory, was being interviewed during the Fever’s media day ahead of the WNBA season, which begins in May. When asked about the Pacers’ incredible comeback, she gave a clear response about the game and her hope for Indiana moving forward this postseason.
“It was crazy. I was down in the tunnel watching. I had to go look at the ESPN win probability after that… but one of the best finishes I’ve ever been a part of. The Pacers are so fun to watch. It’s been incredible to see, obviously, this state rally around them and how they support them, and obviously how they support us.”
She continued, “Both of us play a really fun style of basketball. They’re a really great team. I think Rick [Carlisle] does a tremendous job. We’re rooting for them to go the whole way. That’d be fun to have a lot of Pacers games at the same time as the Fever games.”
The Pacers have set the stage for an epic second-round matchup against the No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers, who finished the season with 64 wins and are coming off a dominant sweep of the Miami Heat.
Last season, Indiana knocked out the Bucks in the first round and then defeated the New York Knicks in the second round to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they ultimately ran into the Boston Celtics.

Now, the Pacers face a much tougher challenge in Cleveland, led by Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley, who was recently named Defensive Player of the Year.
However, this season, in four head-to-head matchups, the Pacers finished with a 3-1 record against the Cavaliers, handing them three of their 18 regular-season losses.
