Cameras Catch Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes’ Painful Moment After Loss vs. Eagles
Things did not go according to plan for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. Instead of securing an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the rest of the squad are going home empty-handed after suffering a brutal 40-22 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mahomes and Kelce did all they could for their squad but it was far from enough as Philly dominated the game on both ends of the field. After the heartbreaking loss, the two Chiefs superstars were caught on camera sharing a painful moment on the sidelines.
Mahomes approached Kelce, who was sitting on the bench. Kelce stood up and the pair hugged it out in what turned out to be a heartbreaking scene.
It is unclear if the two exchanged words during the moment, but Mahomes can be seen tapping Kelce on the back multiple times before walking away with a disheartened look on his face.
The camera angle was from behind Kelce, which is why it was unable to show how the All-Pro tight end reacted to the moment.

This was just the third loss for the Chiefs all season long. However, there’s no denying that this defeat came at the worst possible time for them.
