Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi Mahomes, isn’t really loving the fact that they are living under constant spotlight. In fact, the mother of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback admitted she’s envious of other people living a normal life.

The 48-year-old mom of three shared as much when she appeared on The Mom Game podcast in late June. According to Randi, dealing with fame is “super difficult.”

“I look at some of my friends on social media and I’m jealous that they have this normal [life]. Their kids are the same age as Patrick (28) and Jackson (24), and they have this normal situation and we don’t. It’s super difficult,” Randi shared, via New York Post.

Randi Mahomes also shared that they “just want to be normal and go and have dinner.” However, she pointed out that it’s impossible for them when there is constant attention.

“At my work, it’s really hard because 90 percent of my phone calls aren’t about work. I still go to work and want to live normal,” Randi, who recently retired from her work of nearly 20 years as an event planner, explained.
