A’ja Wilson led the charge for Team USA on Sunday as the Las Vegas Aces superstar dropped a game-high 21 points, 13 rebounds, a steal, and four blocks to carry her squad to a 67-66 victory over France in the gold medal game of the Paris Olympics.

It was another tremendous performance from Wilson, who was named the tournament MVP behind averages of 18.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks in six games played in the Paris Games.

The stars came out to support Team USA on Sunday, which included the likes of LeBron James, Derrick White and Bam Adebayo of the men’s team. Wilson’s postgame interaction with Adebayo, in particular, is what caught the eye of more than a few intrigued fans on X, formerly Twitter.

In July, Wilson and Adebayo were photographed together in what appeared to be a date in Las Vegas. This led to rumors swirling about a possible romantic relationship between the pair.

After Sunday’s win in Paris, Adebayo was one of the first to congratulate Wilson after Team USA’s gold medal win. The fans, however, could not help but notice their special handshake.

More than a few fans just had to poke fun at the pair amid the dating rumors.

At the moment, there is no confirmation if the two are actually dating. However, the fans clearly believe that there’s more to their relationship than just being friends.

In case you somehow missed it, Adebayo also won a gold medal with the men’s basketball team on Saturday, making this rumored union a prolific power couple. After all, it’s not every day that two Olympic gold medalists get romantically involved.
