Aliyah Boston Admits That She’s in Caitlin Clark’s Pocket After 10th WNBA Loss

There has been endless chatter about Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark not making the Paris 2024 Olympics roster for Team USA.

But what about another Fever player, Aliyah Boston?

Boston was the first pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft and won the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year honor last season.

Yet, when it came time for the final Olympic selections to be made, Boston didn’t make the cut.

In addition to speaking about not making Team USA, Boston made an attention-grabbing admission during her media availability session after the Fever’s practice on Wednesday.

When asked about what she’s trying to improve upon with her pick-and-roll game with Clark, Boston said, “Yeah. I mean, it’s just hard because it looks like a pick and pop. But it’s because, especially when Caitlin has the ball, they’re blitzing her a lot.

“So I’m making sure that I’m able to get in her pocket and that I’m available for her,” Boston continued.

Let’s see whether Boston being in Clark’s pocket will benefit the Fever during their next game against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday.
