‘Get Along!’ Angel Reese Speaks Out on Playing With Rival Caitlin Clark in WNBA All-Star Game

Angel Reese ‘Looking Forward’ To Playing With Rival Caitlin Clark in WNBA All-Star Game.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are about to be teammates. And how sweet is that?

Reese and Clark are both part of Team WNBA, which will take on Team USA in tonight’s WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix. The two rookies each received over 380,000 votes for the honor, with the uber-popular Clark of the Indiana Fever ranking first in the voting and Chicago’s Reese ranking fifth.

There is a rivalry here, one that pre-dates their entry into the league. But for one night – and maybe one night only – they are teaming up.

“I’m looking forward to it … Everybody can wear their ‘Get Along’ shirts together for one day, at least,” Reese joked. “I know a lot of people are going to come and watch us, to see all of us, but there’s a lot of talent within both rosters of the teams, so they’re in for a good one.”

In an interview with ESPN, Reese suggested that she anticipates she will teaming up with Clark again in the future. That should certainly happen in future All-Star Games. And it should certainly happen or in the Olympics with Team USA.

Clark, meanwhile, was asked for her thoughts on Reese tonight.

“She’s certainly probably going to lead the game in rebounds. I expect that out of her. That’s just what she does,” Clark said.

Clark and Reese will play against Team USA tonight (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC).
