Just as many fans hoped, the rematch of last year’s National Championship game is set.
On Monday, Caitlin Clark and the No. 1 seed Iowa Hawkeyes will face off against Angel Reese and the No. 3 seed LSU Tigers in the Elite Eight.

Last year, Reese and Clark battled it out in an instant classic.
LSU ultimately came out on top in the national title matchup — and Reese made sure to let Clark know with some trash talk.
Last year’s title game sparked one of the biggest player-to-player rivalries in college basketball.
But, this competitive nature has led to the misconception that these superstars hate each other.
Based on comments from both sides, Reese and Clark have a great deal of respect for one another.
“She’s just a killer…” Reese said during a recent press conference.
“She’s just a really smart player. She has a great mentality to get everyone involved, but also takes great shots and makes great shots,” Reese continued, via Iowa basketball reporter Blake Hornstein.
Tomorrow’s Elite Eight matchup will tipoff at 7:15 p.m. ET in Albany, New York.
