Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has revealed her new nickname following the conclusion of her WNBA rookie season.

Reese didn’t take long to make a name for herself in the WNBA. Drafted seventh overall back in April, she immediately made a huge impact.

Even though her rookie season was cut short due to a wrist injury, Reese was still named a Peak Performer for leading the league in rebounding average per game with 13.1. In June, she won the WNBA Rookie of the Month honor over another star, Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever.

On Friday, Reese took to Instagram to reveal a new nickname she wants fans to call her. She shared a photo of all of her magazine covers lined up on a wall.

“The ONLY issues I haveđŸ€call me MS.COVERGIRL,” she captioned the story post. “I’m missing one but more to come đŸ€đŸ˜©đŸ˜.”

Though the Sky missed the playoffs this year, ending the season tenth in the WNBA with a 13-27 record, Reese is continuing to showcase her personality.

With the offseason in full swing, she’s turning her attention to her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.” Each episode gives fans a chance to see a different side of her as she chats with guests about her life, career, and more.

In addition to Reese’s rebounding average of 13.1 per game, she also averaged 13.6 points and 1.9 assists.
