The 22-year-old will partner up with Kai Cenat for the Super Bowl, at the expense of the Unrivaled League.

Angel Reese continues to make the headlines even in the WNBA offseason as the 22-year-old finds herself at the center of Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, by accepting an intriguing football offer.
The Chicago Sky star announced that she will coach Kai Cenat’s flag football team rather than compete in the Unrivaled 1v1 tournament, which had a $200,000 grand prize, attracting controversy as fans claim she’s disinterested in her own career.
“I’m coaching Team Kai live at the Super Bowl Flag Football Game on YouTube,” Reese said via X.com, formerly Twitter. “Tune in to see if I bring home the dub!”
Many fans expressed their disappointment with the decision, arguing that she should focus on improving her shooting efficiency after posting an 18.8% field goal percentage during her rookie season in the WNBA.
One fan said via X.com, “dawg what in the hell does this mf know about football let alone sports in general”
A second said, “Further proves what I’ve been saying lol she’s a damn influencer! Not a basketball player!”
And a third wrote, “I swear she’ll do anything besides work on her layups in the gym.”
Reese launches McDonalds collaboration
Reese has reportedly signed a groundbreaking deal with McDonald’s, making history as the first female athlete to have her own signature meal on the iconic menu. The meal is set to launch just one day after the Super Bowl, on February 10.
