Boston Bruins superstar Brad Marchand announced a luxury watch raffle on Instagram on Monday to support the cancer recovery efforts of a friend’s young daughter. Marchand is raffling off a Breitling SuperOcean Heritage 42 mm watch valued at $5,400, with all proceeds going to aid 9-year-old Selah and her family.
Selah was diagnosed with cancer on Nov 23 and underwent surgery. She’s now embarking on the long process of healing and recovery. Her parents, JP and Mada, have been close friends of Marchand’s for years.
With three other children at home, JP and Mada are facing immense emotional and financial strain as they support Selah’s recovery. The raffle is being organized by his friend Andy Bodnarchuk, who posted a video explaining the details.

He encouraged people to participate in the raffle as a way to support the family during an incredibly difficult time.
