Brady Tkachuk, the captain of the Ottawa Senators, played well for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face Off even though they could not win the trophy and lost it to Team Canada. At a recent match, the Ottawa Senators played against the San Jose Sharks at their home venue in Canada.
This resulted in heavy booing to the U.S. national anthem that was played before the match was about to begin. Brady Tkachuk’s reaction to the constant booing has gone viral and now fans have opinions on it.
Brady Tkachuk Seems Dissappointed At The Crowd Booing The U.S. National Anthem And Fans Are Convinced That He Will Look For A Trade
While Brady Tkachuk’s team, the Ottawa Senators ultimately won the match against San Jose Sharks, the star player seemed disappointed at the booing to the U.S. national anthem. Brady Tkachuk was spotted to be shaking his head in disappointment and now fans have a different take on it. Fans are convinced that Brady Tkachuk will soon ask for a trade.
A fan wrote, “Yeah, he seems really pissed off with the fans! Everybody needs to stop trying to create a problem where there isn’t one. He’s a grown-up, he knows why it’s happening”, while another fan wrote, “Just trade him to Vegas already. We’ll make a champ out of him, just like Stoney.”
A third fan wrote, “Brady Tkachuk should ask for a trade and so should Josh Norris. See where that leaves the Senators and their fans with the team talent pool. The no class booing will turn into full on crying when Sens come in last place next season. Tariffs will be there regardless.
Booing won’t work as a political tool but it might work really well to lose a couple of the team’s best players.”
Another user wrote, “The final nail in the coffin for him leaving ASAP”.
However, Brady Tkachuk has not issued a statement about the controversy yet. In 2021, the star player signed a seven year deal with the Ottawa Senators for a whopping $57.5 million and soon became the captain of the team. While it is highly unlikely that Brady Tkachuk might ask for a trade, fans are pretty convinced about it.
