**BREAKING: Rosie O’Donnell Refuses to Support American Eagle Amid Sydney Sweeney Campaign Backlash**

Comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell has made it clear she wants no part in a potential partnership with American Eagle, publicly stating that she will neither wear their jeans nor accept a sponsorship from the brand if ever approached.

O’Donnell’s remarks come in response to American Eagle’s recent ad campaign featuring actress Sydney Sweeney, which has stirred controversy and sparked divided reactions online. While some praised the campaign for its bold approach, others — like O’Donnell — found it offensive.

“I’m not a fan of what they put out there,” O’Donnell reportedly said. “The campaign was disgusting and divisive. It’s not something I’d ever want to be associated with.”

Her statement adds to the growing wave of criticism surrounding the retailer’s marketing choices, which have been described by detractors as tone-deaf and disconnected from the values many consumers want to see represented.

O’Donnell, known for her outspoken views, has never shied away from weighing in on cultural debates, and her stance may further fuel discussions about celebrity endorsements, brand responsibility, and the role of public figures in shaping consumer loyalty.

Whether her rejection of American Eagle will influence others in Hollywood or among her fan base remains to be seen, but it underscores the risks companies face when their marketing strategies spark outrage instead of inspiration.

“Shocked” Rosie O’ Donnell Shares Glimpse at Weight Loss Transformation

A month after Rosie O’Donnell revealed she lost 50 pounds on a weight loss drug, she shared a shocking photo of her transformation adding, “Mounjaro is a life saver.”

As the Now and Then actress continues her weight loss journey, she shared a recent picture taken by pals Camryn Manheim and Robin Ruzan.

“Ok so went shopping to but [sic] a comfy lounge wear outfit for my 22 hour flight to Australia,” Rosie wrote in an Instagram post August 13, alongside a photo of her wearing a casual black workout set, “was undecided as i cant see myself in this new smaller body.”

But while Rosie’s fellow actresses helped her see just how good she looked, she still found it unbelievable.

“I am shocked I’m a 12,” the View alum added. “Mounjaro is a lifesaver.”

Indeed, the 63-year-old—mom to Parker, 30, Chelsea, 27, Blake, 25, Vivienne, 22 and Clay, 12–has previously expressed her gratitude for the weight loss drug, which helped her drop 50 pounds.

“I can’t believe this is me now,” Rosie reflected in a May Instagram post, adding in another, “I’ve lost more weight here. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight.”

And with her new body, comes a lot of shopping, noting that she’s been on the hunt for clothes that “fit better.”

“I’m one of those people who’s always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large, instead of an XL or a 2XL, I find it shocking,” Rosie explained in a March TikTok. “I’ve been wearing elastic-waist pants for a very long time.”

In tandem with taking Mounjaro, Rosie has also made conscious lifestyle choices to contribute to her body transformation.

“I stopped drinking anything except water,” Rosie explained in a January 2023 TikTok. “I really stopped drinking five or six Diet Cokes a day. All I drink is water now, and I’m not eating sugar as much as I can.”

As for what Rosie is adding to her diet? She recently delved into TikTok’s “Tiffany plate” trend, which is essentially a repackaged charcuterie board coined by weight loss influencer Tiffany Magee.

“This is my first Tiffany platter,” she said in a May 23 video. “It’s on TikTok and everyone makes their own little healthy food thing and then they eat it during the day. So mine has Babybel reduced fat cheese, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, olives, a little bit of chicken breast, some vegetables and some fruit.”

Following the 2021 birth of eldest son Riley, singer Meghan Trainor and her actor husband Daryl Sabara did the 75 Hard challenge, “and, man, did we crush,” Meghan detailed during the April 9 episode of the couple’s Workin’ On It podcast. “Then, we heard more and more of our friends—and even our doctors—were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.”

They each opted to get on the lowest dose possible of Monjaro, combining the shots with exercise and balanced meals. “Daryl and I both do everything together,” the “All About That Bass” singer explained. “And we started that journey.”

Former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson gave one unnamed weight loss injectable a shot. Exactly one, to be precise. “I started the weight loss shots,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories in April 2025. “Only did one. Nevermind. Throwing away!!”

Ultimately, said the Playboy model, she wasn’t interested in hopping into any potential health risks. “Heard too many horror stories around me,” explained the mom of two. “People end up in ER. Surgeries. No thanks.”
