Brittney Griner is part of the Team USA roster for the 2024 Olympics, and she wants everyone to know she’s committed to helping the team win despite the backlash she’s getting.
For those not in the know, Griner has been on the receiving end of plenty of criticism after she was selected for Team USA. Many questioned her selection, especially with Caitlin Clark snubbed from the squad.
Others couldn’t help having doubts about her commitment to the nation, especially due to her previous stance about the USA when she did not stand with teammates during the playing of the national anthem.

In an Instagram post recently, however, Griner made sure to emphasize where her mind is after she was given the chance to represent the country in the 2024 Olympics. The Phoenix Mercury star is determined to bring another gold for Team USA, which would be the third of her career if successful.
“When you see GRINER 15… just know it’s time to handle business for a third time … PARIS BOUND bby!!!!” Griner wrote on Instagram along with photos of her holding her national team jersey.

It’s unlikely the criticisms on Griner will stop considering she already has a legion of detractors. However, for Team USA, it is certainly a good thing the Mercury center has her eyes on the prize and nothing else.
Hopefully, when the 2024 Olympics take place, the fans can unite and cheer on Team USA as it looks to stay on top of women’s basketball.
