One person on social media blamed Clark for something that probably wasn’t her fault.

People love nothing more than to talk about Caitlin Clark, whether those speaking love her or hate her. Once again, the Indiana Fever star is at the center of attention after Temi Fagbenle was selected by the Golden State Valkyries in Friday’s expansion draft, seeing her leave the Fever.
WNBA fans were left shocked that the Fever hadn’t taken the decision to protect their backup center, which saw her picked up by Golden State.
The new franchise, as per expansion rules, had the ability to select one player contract or negotiating rights from each of the pre-existing 12 teams, with Fagbenle being their choice from the Fever. They chose 10 other players, only sparing the Seattle Storm.
Fans react to Fagbenle leaving Fever for Valkyries
“Damn, Caitlin Clark ran her out of town,” wrote one Twitter user.
The sentiment continued along those lines, with many Indiana fans expressing their disappointment to see the back of Fagbenle.
“She’s gonna be missed,” wrote one fan, while also expressing some understanding of the decision earlier in the post.
“Loved her defence and energy,” added another.
“BAD decision not to protect Temi. Boo hiss,” wrote another fan, slightly oddly.
“I’m so confused by this! How was Temi not protected? Temi you will be missed!!!” added and enthusiastic Temi-loving other.

While Clark is losing a friend in Fagbenle, she is seeing another make a move in the WNBA as Kate Martin was drafted by the Valkyries too.
Martin had been with the Las Vegas Aces last year, but will move to Golden State now, as she was not protected either.
