Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s Synchronized Play at All-Star Practice Goes Viral

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese both earned spots on the WNBA All-Star team as rookies and fans cannot wait to see the former college rivals play together as teammates for the first time.

Clark and Reese, along with 10 other veteran All-Stars attended the team’s first practice on July 19. Under head coach Cheryl Miller, they played around with different sets and lineups throughout practice.

While working on their jumpers, Clark and Reese made shots at the same time and both went in — a moment which quickly went viral on social media.

The WNBA All-Star game is expected to break viewership records on Saturday. Last year’s tilt drew 850,000 viewers, making it the most-watched WNBA All-Star Game since 2007, SI reported.

The Fever’s most recent matchup against the Dallas Wings, during which Clark broke the WNBA for the most assists (19) in a single game, brought in 1.7 million viewers. With Reese and Clark playing as teammates for the first time, against the star-studded Team USA roster, ABC can expect viewership numbers to soar exponentially.

The WNBA All-Star game airs on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET on July 20.
