It is an unusual ranking.

New WNBA star Caitlin Clark is the most popular athlete among those who currently play in the NBA, according to a new study.
Clark became a star in the NCAA for her work with the Iowa Hawkeyes and she was the no.1 pick in the WNBA Draft recently, meaning she now plays for the Indiana Fever.
The Athletic has now conducted a study to see just how popular she is compared to other major athletes when it comes to who NBA players like the most.
The question was put to 133 anonymous players, and it seems that Clark was the second-highest vote-getter.
Who beat Caitlin Clark on the list?
WNBA reporter Myles Ehrlich shared the poll results on Twitter and said: “Some women’s basketball representation on The Athletic’s anonymous NBA player poll! “women’s basketball players-Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese, JuJu Watkins, A’ja Wilson [& Caitlin] Clark-were named on 12.2 percent of all NBA players’ ballots.”
The player at the top of the list was Lamar Jackson with 13 percent of voters picking the Baltimore Ravens quarterback, whilst Clark got 6.1 percent.
That put her ahead of tennis superstar Novak Djokovic. In terms of other WNBA players, Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese, A’ja Wilson and JuJu Watkins also featured.
One NBA player anonymously said to The Athletic as part of the study: “She’s unreal. I’m excited to see how her journey pans out and what she does for the women’s game.”
