Caitlin Clark Welcomes San Francisco 49ers Stars Courtside During Valkyries vs. Fever Game

Caitlin Clark is not playing for the Indiana Fever due to a groin injury but she never misses out the single game of her team from the courtside. Her cheer remains important for Indiana in pursuit of the playoffs. During the road matchup against Valkyries, Indiana star greeted some familiar faces at Chase Center. It was a beautiful reunion of Iowa Hawkeyes during the WNB showdown.
Caitlin Clark Makes Iowa Reunion with Kittles at Chase Center
Caitlin Clark, who is out of the WNBA action due to injury, went across the court to greet her fellow Iowa alums, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife, Claire. Claire has played college basketball for the Hawkeyes. 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and his wife, Kristin were also sitting there.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year has appeared in 13 games this season due to multiple injuries. She sustained a right groin injury before the All-Star Game and then, dealt with a bone bruise in her ankle last month. She has averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game this season.

Last year, George Kittle and wife Claire also attended Clark’s final home game at women’s NCAA Tournament against West Virginia. Clark and Claire met as freshmen at the University of Iowa. The couple personally met Clark in the locker room and clicked a picture for social media. George Kittle played for the Hawkeyes’ football team so the couple has a beautiful connection with Iowa.
Claire Kittle was a gymnast at the University of Iowa and currently, she is fitness entrepreneur, with a reported net worth of around $2 million. She got married to George in April 2019 after the NFL star proposed her in August 2018.
George Kittle is one of the top tight ends in the NFL and guided his team to Super Bowl 2024. The couple was enjoying the offseason but George will now be back in action for the new NFA season which is starting this weekend. The San Francisco 49ers will kick off their campaign for the 2025-26 season with a opening clash against Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
On the other hand, Clark’s Indiana Fever dropped a crucial game against the Valkyries and slipped to eighth in the table. On Friday night, Sims produced a clutch show to get a narrow win over the Sparks and Indiana reached sixth in the standings. Upcoming games will be important for the Fever in pursuit of WNBA playoffs. Clark is likely to miss the entire season due to injury.
