Caitlin Clark Leaves Fans Speechless With Historic Performance Vs. Phoenix Mercury
The Indiana Fever returned to action on Friday night, and once again, they were led by a starring performance from none other than Caitlin Clark.
The star guard had a huge night for the Fever (29 PTS, 10 AST, 5 REB, 8/16 FGM), leading them to a 98-89 victory over the Phoenix Mercury.
Clark makes history pretty much every single time she takes the court, and she did so again on Friday night, as she became the first player in WNBA history to score 50+ points and 25+ assists over a two-game span. Unsurprisingly, fans were freaking out on social media as a result of her latest heroics.
Clark was on an absolute tear prior to the WNBA All-Star break, and she picked up right where she left off in her return to action on Friday night.
As she keeps on racking up big performances, it looks like Clark will be running away with the Rookie of the Year award, leaving Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky in the dust.
With another big game in the books, Clark will look to continue her recent hot streak against the Seattle Storm when they take the court next on Sunday.
